He seemed like a hell of a man. Those of us who never got the chance to meet him are much worse off for it.

It's hard to wrap my mind around it.
Things are going to feel quite different around BSG, not having him on council, not seeing him at the events to shoot the breeze with, not having him around to complain with (he was a hoot), not having his common sense and calm demeanor.

The forum loses another great one. And you can tell he was great when it elicits emotion from you and you only knew him online. It breaks my heart to hear of this. My deepest sympathies and most heartfelt prayers for his family. May the Lord touch lay his touch upon them and comfort their hearts.

I had Eddy Giles as a computer teacher in school and I also had him as my bus driver for years and years. He was one of the greatest guys and best teachers I had ever been around. I got to talk to him on a daily basis and without him riding a bus for all those years wouldn't have been near as fun as it was. It's sad to have heard the news about what happened to him and now his untimely passing. I would wave at him every time we passed each other as he drove the bus through the holler down here. He will be missed and now he can rest on a job well done.
